International Hockey
Two More Players added to Indian Men’s Squad
After trials last week, The Indian Men’s Hockey Team has added defender Pratap Lakra and Uttam Singh to their roster, making the core group up to 40 players.
India Womens vs. Australia Womens Series Kicks off
The two teams faced off in the first game of a three match series Thursday morning, and Australia took a 2-0 win with goals fromCourtney Schonell and Grace Stewart. The next game will take place on Saturday.
USA Field Hockey
USWNT Schedules Home Matches Against Ireland and New Zealand
Hockey is coming home! The USWNT will host Ireland on June 7th & 8th and New Zealand July 5th and 6th. All four games will take place at 10 AM ET at UNC-Charlotte, and will be streamed for free on YouTube.

USMNT’s Tristan Clemons Announces Retirement
Clemons announced his retirement from international hockey on April 30th. The goalkeeper played with Australia for 8 years, before joining the USA’s team in March 2023.

NCAA Field Hockey
Limestone University Officially Closing
Home of the reigning SAC Champions, Limestone University, has announced the university’s closure stating financial trouble. This closure will leave approximately 23 field hockey players, along with 4 2025 commits, without a home for the fall.
Spring Transfer Portal Window Open
The transfer portal opened this morning, and will remain open until May 15th.
Unfortunately, the NCAA lawsuit has still not been settled, leaving player’s futures hanging in the balance with no idea if the roster limits will be implemented. The judge has stated a desire for a grandfather clause to be put in place, but with no settlement, we expect to see players from larger rosters entering the portal.

Sol Borensztein Honored with Saint Joseph’s Class of 1950 Award
